Media Filtration Systems

Pressure filters filled with sand, multimedia or activated carbon. They remove mud, cloudiness, chlorine, smell and organic matter.

Steel pressure filter vessels with valves for sand and multimedia filtration

Overview

Sand and multimedia filters catch dirt as the water flows through layers of filter media. Activated carbon filters take out chlorine, organics, bad taste and smell.

Good media filtration in front of an RO plant means less load on the cartridge filters and membranes, and a plant that runs more steadily.
